From the first conversation to the final gallery, we keep the process personal, responsive, and seamless, then arrive ready to welcome your guests, bring the energy, and create the kind of experience they’ll still be talking about after the last photo.

Every visual detail is customized in-house, from the photo template and both interactive guest screens to the backdrop and finishing touches. Using your colors, logos, fonts, and provided design assets, we create a photo booth experience that feels completely on theme and unmistakably yours, so guests remember the setup that caught their eye, the experience that drew them in, and the photographs they couldn’t wait to take home!

about usWe’re Julia and Quintin, the husband-and-wife duo behind Shutter Gold, based in Chico and bringing thoughtfully styled photo booth experiences to celebrations throughout Butte County and Northern California.

We started Shutter Gold with a simple idea: the booth should look just as good as the photos it takes. From flattering lighting and custom artwork to personalized photo templates and curated backdrops, we obsess over the details so you don’t have to. The result? A booth guests gravitate toward, photographs they genuinely love, and keepsakes that become even more meaningful with time. Because the party ends. The photos don’t.
