About us

We’re Julia and Quintin, the husband-and-wife duo behind Shutter Gold, based in Chico and bringing thoughtfully styled photo booth experiences to celebrations throughout Butte County and Northern California.

We started Shutter Gold with a simple idea: the booth should look just as good as the photos it takes. From flattering lighting and custom artwork to personalized photo templates and curated backdrops, we obsess over the details so you don’t have to. The result? A booth guests gravitate toward, photographs they genuinely love, and keepsakes that become even more meaningful with time. Because the party ends. The photos don’t.
